I’m currently fifteen chapters through book two. That’s just under half way if I consider the number of chapters in Book One. I’m about 15k words in which is almost a fifth the way through the book. I, like Annabelle open brackets, I’m a starter. My style is to write, to open ideas, then move on to another. Gradually I started to close them off and the story takes shape.

Annabelle Cloud as a story follows that approach It’s part of the reason I wrote it. Lean in to my strengths and try to formalise them. With each new opening I have more and more distractions from the original story, that allows my mind to not get stuck in the weeds. By having some many openings I always have something to fall back on when one of them stumps me.
