For those of you who not following my new instagram account for The Many Dreams of Annabelle Cloud @annabellecloud.author it may seem like I’ve not posted any updates for a while.

I’ve been working on book 2, currently titled, “The Difficult Second Book”.

I’ve been having to play with various things on my official social media accounts. Anything to create followers and engagement. It’s not actually something I’m particularly interested in, but it seems to come with the territory.

Beta readers feedback has all be excellent. I’m thrilled that so many people have read and enjoyed it. Thank you to all that have helped.
4.
I chose to have a professional critique done. I didn’t need to, but because of potential plans I may follow for the self publishing of my writing, not just this novel, I think I needed to have an independent grounding. I had a report back this week and I’m over the moon with it. There is some terrific feedback in there, not just on the story, but my writing style too. It’s starting to feel like, maybe I can actually do this. Maybe I can write after all.
5.
Next step – entering the query trenches. From next month I will start hitting up agents. This I expect to be a long haul that might not be successful, but it’s something I need to get out of my system before thinking about independent publishing.
